![]() Next talk to Gosnold the Balloonist to learn that you’ll have to collect 1,200 Gems to go to the next Home world, the Magic Crafters. Head to the Balloonist’s dock and grab the Blue and Green Topper Chests, then circle around the pool for a 1up Oyster. ![]() Grab ‘em, then take out the three Foot Soldiers towards the Balloonist to get two Green Gems and a Blue. Nearby will be a Portal to Cliff Town, with two Red Gems and a Green in front of it. If you flame the tents to expose the Foot Soldiers, but then face away from them, they’ll moon you! Flame their buttocks for their troubles, and you’ll get in total three Green Gems and a Blue. Luckily there are more Tents and Foot Soldiers who flee into them than that, so what you need to do is Flame at least one Foot Soldier, and the rest in the level will automatically flee into the tents when you approach them. Scaring Foot Soldiers into the tents is crucial for earning this level’s Skill Point in Reignited: you’ll be aiming for six. Return to the pair of cannons and now make your way over to the Foot Soldiers near the fence, who will flee into the tents after you kill one of them. You can rush over there and kill them for two Blue Gems, but if you’re clever, you can make Spyro rotate the first cannon by pushing it, then flaming the cannon to fire it and take out both of them from a distance! Head to the left cannon of the pair and face away from the blue lake you’ll spot two Red Gems, three Chests holding two Green Gems and a Blue, and the portal to Dry Canyon. In the distance you can spot two Cannon Patrol Gnorcs playing Cannonball Catch. Make sure to pick up the three Red Gems at the edge of the purple ooze nearby, and three more Red Gems between the cannon and the room you got here from. Take out the Foot Soldier for a Green Gem, then rush over and kill the Cannon Patrol for a Blue one. Cannon Patrols will flee to nearby cannons to commandeer them. Outside you’ll find another Foot Soldier, but also a Cannon Patrol Gnorc, with the blue hat. Right when you land, walk off the dock and into the room to find the Dragon Titan, who will introduce you to your mission here to progress to the next Home world: collect Treasure!ĭefeat the Foot Soldier Gnorc on the other end of the room, then exit via the doorway on the left. Like basically every other stage in the game, minus the flying levels of course, Ice Cavern is full of gems for Spyro to collect and dragons for him to save. While facing the balloonist, check to the right to find a slope that leads down to the Ice Cavern portal. After traveling to the Peacekeepers world, take a left and find the balloonist. Even so, the path can be hard to spot, as it is one of the only level portals in the entire game that isn't in plain sight. This means that the collection carries over some of the trickier things from the original game, including the entrance to the Ice Cavern level in the Peacekeepers world, which has traditionally been hard to find for fans.Īs it turns out, the Ice Cavern isn't even necessarily hidden in Spyro: Reignited Trilogy. Spyro: Reignited Trilogy is out now, and is a near exact recreation of the original PS1 games, but with updated graphics and audio.
